We are a service club of about 50 members that do good deeds throughout our local community and the world. We meet weekly for lunch in Ukiah, CA.

The kinds of local projects we’re currently involved with include awarding scholarships to local high school graduates, hosting foreign high school exchange students, helping the local Interact Club (a Rotary affiliated service club for high school students), repairing local park playground equipment and rewarding young students with cash and recognition for community service projects they are involved with.

The kinds of international projects we’re involved with include an Adopt-a-Village program in Africa, where we have provided farm equipment and school supplies to a small African village. And water projects in India, where we have helped build water storage facilities to allow small communities to have clean drinking water closer to their homes. Some of our members have even visited these areas to see the results of our efforts.

We have also been involved in the goal of eradicating polio throughout the world. All Rotary Clubs worldwide have been contributing to this effort, and we are getting very close. It will not be much longer before the disease of polio is eliminated forever.
